Art Born from Oxidation and Welding
Each piece is shaped by nature’s slow breath, where controlled oxidation and precise welding reveal hidden colors and textures within metal. It’s a balance of permanence and decay—a transformation that captures time itself. Beauty emerges through change, depth through corrosion. Every work is a moment unfolding, meant not just to be seen, but felt.

Abdessamia Bargamane
I’m Bargamane, from Morocco. My father had a little foundry factory, and I used to spend my holidays there. Over time, I felt a connection with the material—I could change its color just by touching it. That was the beginning of my life with metal. Through oxidation and welding, I started creating pieces that felt alive.
Oxidation and Welding
Through oxidation, metal reacts slowly with air and moisture, revealing unexpected colors, patterns, and textures—like time painting the surface. Welding, on the other hand, is more direct and forceful, used to shape, cut, and fuse the metal with precision. Together, these techniques create a dialogue between control and chaos, allowing each piece to evolve naturally while still carrying intentional form and meaning.
